Atlantic 85 Coxswain Launched the ILB after he spotted a small cabin cruiser being swept broadside in surf, just North of the station. The single occupant then started to wave for help, as the ILB was launching the owner manage to restart his engine, the ILB crew made sure he was ok before returning to station

Atlantic 85 Diverted from Exercise following a 999 call ,reporting of a speed boat broken down and taking water with 5 POB off Churchfields slipway, as the ILB arrived on scene the casualty managed to restart his engine and creep back into churchfields. Then retasked to Investigate a submerged vessel off of Bideford Quay, On Arrival they found a part submerged vessel in the main channel. Vessel was towed to the river bank and handed back to its owner.

BB-546 Launched to a report of a Dory adrift in the river Torridge nr Little America. Once on scene the Boarding boat came across the vessels owner who confirmed the vessel had parted its mooring after a large tree had hit it. The owner was happy he required no assistance so the boarding boat RTS.

Once on scene the BB crew came across the fire Brigade damping down a flare fire, and also confirmed by police that youths were seen firing flares in the Northam area (Torridge Bridge), all search units were stood down (False alarm)
