Appledore Lifeboat Station
The present Lifeboat Station was opened in 2001, the Architects being Poynton Bradbury Wynter & Cole. It was built on the site of the old boathouse. The first boathouse was built on this site in 1889 after the land was donated by Charles and Anne Hill Chapple.
